Viennese Potato-Gulash

Shopping list

1 kg solid cooking potatoes
4 large onions
4 tbsp. Hazelnut Oil
4 tbsp. mild paprika powder
1 tbsp. hot paprika powder
100 ml Red Pepper Vinegar
1 l vegetable broth
salt and pepper
1 tbsp. marjoram
1 tsp. caraway seeds
200 g dried, smoked sausages

Instructions

1 kg solid cooking potatoes wash, peel, cut into cubes, put into a bowl with water and set aside.
4 large onions cut finely, place in a big roasting pot together with 4 tbsp. Hazelnut Oil and fry until slightly browned; take off the stove, add 4 tbsp. mild paprika powder and
1 tbsp. hot paprika powder stir well, and immediately sprikle with 100 ml Red Pepper Vinegar to flavour and to also prevent the paprika powder from getting bitter
return the pot to the stove, add 1 l vegetable broth add the potatoes together with salt and pepper, 1 tbsp. marjoram, 1 tsp. caraway seeds and cook until semi-done. Add
200 g dried, smoked sausages and cook together with the potatoes until the potatoes are done
